X2000 Trains

X2000 trains are high-speed tilting services, recently refurbished and operating on long distance Swedish routes. Bicycles are permitted onboard free of charge provided they are in a bike bag. Domestic pets are also welcome, with trains having dedicated areas for those travelling with pets. There is no luggage restriction oboard, and bulkier items are also permitted. There are two classes of accommodation available: First Class and Standard Class.

First Class:

First class seats are larger than Standard Class seats, with more leg room and power points. Currently, First Class ticket holders receive a free meal at their seat, but from 1st June, only breakfast will be included for free (lunch and dinner available at extra cost). Daily newspapers and WiFi are available free of charge, and passengers have access to the SJ Lounge at Stockholm and Gothenburg Stations.

Standard Class:

Standard Class passengers benefit from power points at every seat, as well as the option to be seated in Quiet carriages, and payable WiFi (pay at the bar). There are sockets for radio and music channels at every seat too. Passengers have access to a bar/buffet car, which sells hot and cold food and drink.

More information can be found on the SJ website.
