Travel Info
Bari is one of Italy, and Europe's most important ports, linking Italy with Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and Albania. Whilst the town is mainly used as an entry/exit point, it does also have some endearing features, such as its Medieval town centre and historic buildings and sites. One of the highlights is the cathedral of Saint Nicholas.
Travel within the town is generally done on foot or by bus, for which tickets cost around 1.5€.
Italian national train services run to the port, from where ferries travel to Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and Albania.
