An overland journey is made up of a number of flightless routes. So, for example, while London to Paris is a route (a direct service), London to Barcelona is a journey (that includes the London to Paris route). The journeys listed on Grounded Travel also include 'epic' journeys, such as the Trans-Siberian Railway.
