The Vatican is the state of which Vatican city is within. The state is located within Rome and is the temporal seat of the Pope. Arms and legs should be covered when entering the Vatican. It is the smallest state in the world, both spatially and in terms of population. It is easily accessed from Rome itself. The journey to Rome is very straightforward, with only one change from London.
