Stratford

Stratford is a district in North East London, and is home to the majority of the venues for the 2012 Olympic Games. The area has been undergoing significant change in recent years, and will soon see the arrival of a new shopping centre.

Stratford has strong rail links, both national and international. London Overground services to/from Richmond run through Stratford, and other rail services to Liverpool Street Station and stations in Essex are also available. Significantly, National Express East Anglia services towards Harwich pass through Stratford. Docklands Light Railway and London Underground Jubilee and Central Line services pass through the station.

Stratford International Station will be served by Eurostar trains nearer 2012. In the meantime, high speed rail services operated by Southeastern pass through the stations.
