Gillingham is one of the Medway Towns, located in Kent, South East England. The town's main attraction is the Royal Engineers Museum, which houses information and artefacts relating to military engineering and the history of the British Empire.

Mainline train services arrive at Gillingham from London and Dover. Within the town itself, there are plenty of bus services, operated by Arriva.
