Travel Info

Russia is undoubtedly the largest country in the world, with countless borders with other countries and seas. Understandably, due to its size, the climate and landscape changes considerably between cities. Russia also acts as the gateway to China and Mongolia, with some iconic train journeys such as the Trans-Siberian and Silk Route passing through it.

Travelling overland in Russia is generally a slow process, but is certainly possible. A network of long distance routes links major cities, and the country even has two high-speed lines; one linking Moscow and St Petersburg, and the other St Petersburg and Helsinki

If you are a foreign visitor to Russia, remember to check the visa requirements for your stay.
