Almelo

Almelo is a city situated in the east of the Netherlands. The city is famous for its football club, Heracles Almelo and attractions including the castle of the Counts of Almelo.

There are two railway stations within the city, Almelo Railway Station and Almelo de Riet Railway Station. From the main railway station, services travel to Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Amersfoort and Deventer. It is also possible to catch international services to Hannover and Berlin. There is also a daily service that travels into Poland to Szczecin.
