Montenegro

Montenegro was severly affected by the civil war in Yugoslavia, and has only recently begun to recover. Tourism is on the up, and the regeneration of damaged areas has been spurred. The country benefits from a very varied landscape, from picturesque bays to spectacular mountains. Trains into the country are fairly frequent, and run via Belgrade.
