Liechtenstein is a landlocked principality in Central Europe. It is bordered by Switzerland and Austria, and covers a tiny area of just 160 sq km. The country boasts the highest GDP per capita in the world, and has the lowest level of external debt.
The german-speaking country is linked to Austria and Switzerland by around 10km of railway track, administered by Austrian Federal Railways. The country has four stations, although many longer-distance trains do not stop within the principality.
