Greece is one of the most popular destinations for UK holidaymakers, due mainly to its climate and seaside resorts. The country also benefits from a large number of islands, such as Corfu and Crete. Greece is also considered to be the birthplace of several aspects of modern civilisation. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to reach Greece without flying.
