Bulgaria

Bulgaria is famous for its mountains, which cover half of the country. A budget ski culture is evolving here. There are also many sandy beach resorts along the Black Sea coastline. Folk is an important tradition amongst the people which can be seen in their music, dances, rituals and costumes. Bulgarian railways operate services between the interior of the country to the Black Sea coast. On longer journeys first class sleeper cars are recommended.
