Travel Info
Ghent (or Gent) is a city in the Flemish region of Belgium. The medieval core of the city is well preserved, and the city's centre is car-free, making it an ideal city to walk around. There are plenty of attractions within the city, including the Saint Bavo Cathedral and the Museum of Fine Arts.
There are five train stations within the city of Ghent, with frequent links to Brussels. Within the city itself, there is a dedicated tram and bus system. Public transport and walking is the best way to visit the city, as the centre is pedestrianised.
