Popular Routes

There are some amazing things to do and places to see in Europe, and nearly all of them are accessible without the need to fly! This section of our site is dedicated to the most popular routes that run in and across Europe. If you think we are missing any (which I'm sure we are!) why not get in touch!
Within each popular route, you should be able to find the individual sections of the trip that combine to create the overall trip. If you would like more detail about a particular segment of the trip, just click on the link within the page.
Trans-Siberian Railway
The trans-siberian railway connects Russia with China and Mongolia. The route splits into three separate parts after Ulan-Ude. The three lines continue on to Vladivostok (Trans-Siberian), to Ulan Bator and Beijing (Trans-Mongolian) and to Beijing (Trans-Manchurian).
Bernina Express
The Bernina Express is one of the most breathtaking rail journeys in Europe. The route sees its passengers travel from Chur, in the North of the Switzerland, to Tirano in the South. The route isn't that long, but still takes a while - to allow the train's passengers to truly enjoy the spectacular landscape. En route, the train passes through fifty five tunnels and over one hundred and ninety six bridges.
Eurostar - London to Paris
The most popular inter-country train service is the Eurostar. Departing from the newly refurbished St Pancras International Station at King's Cross in London, and travelling to Gare du Nord in Paris, the Eurostar acts as the UK's route into Europe. Taking just two hours and fifteen minutes from London to Paris, it is a fast option that can be taken without your feet leaving the ground.
